Seeking an Event Manager with an Excellent Personality, excellent driving record, basic towing experience (cars, boats, trailers, etc), and enjoys console video games - training provided
Next Level Gaming is seeking a reliable, responsible, rock star with high energy, and some experience driving tow-hitched vehicles for local travel to video game parties, tournaments, and schools/colleges around the area. All travel is local - company is based in Columbia and all work days begin and end at base.
Paid training for all services we offer is provided, including driver training.
- Weekend work would average about 8-10 hours (3 - 4 events/parties)
- Weekday work 1-2 days/week is required with room for growth.
- Tasks include:
- Driving and Operating the Game Theater, Troubleshooting Games, Playing Games with Customers, Learning and operating our Mobile Laser Tag system, Running Virtual Reality Parties, Interfacing with Customers and Team Members, Various other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Not in order of importance):
Do not apply if you don’t meet these minimum criteria
- Clean, very engaging, honest, intelligent, well-spoken, respectable, responsible, hard worker, team player
- Positive energy is a non-negotiable asset. **Must be a 'people' person**
- Must be comfortable talking to people and crowds.
- Must have at *least* 5 years of a clean driving record (3 years if you have towing experience)
- Must have a clean background check
- Must be physically capable of lifting boxes up to 50 lbs
- Experience towing any large vehicles is preferred
- High school diploma
- Generally knowledgeable about console games and gaming in general
Pay: $17/hr during training, $18 - $22/hr after training plus tips plus quarterly bonuses.
