Job Description:
Next Level Family Solutions LLC is seeking energetic and dedicated Direct Support Workers to join our team! We’re looking for individuals with great personality, a passion to support and empower our program participants to successfully live in their home and be active members of their community. The Direct Support Workers will assist participants to learn new skills, practice or improve existing skills in the home and the community. As a Direct Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting participants with building life skills, promoting independence, and foster empowerment and self-sufficiency. We need candidates who are patient, punctual, and always eager to learn. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is essential to maintain privacy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist participants in building interpersonal and independent living skills
- Assist participants in community living skills.
- Foster a supportive and positive atmosphere for self-care and self determination
- Community participation
- Communication skills
- Daily living skills
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure members confidentiality
- Collaborate with participants and their families to plan and implement individualized goals
- Maintain punctuality and reliability for all scheduled shifts
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Direct Support Worker or in a similar caregiving role
- Must possess High school Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid North Carolina driver’s license or other valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and automobile liability insurance coverage.
- Criminal background check presents no health and safety risk to participants
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Energetic personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow
- Highly punctual and dependable
