You will oversee projects from "cradle to grave," managing budgets, scheduling, and client relations while actively directing field crews, enforcing safety, and solving hands-on problems on-site. Core Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Manage the full lifecycle of diverse projects, including residential renovations, commercial build-outs, and new construction.
- Field Leadership: Spend significant time on-site supervising crews, managing subcontractors, and directly coordinating daily build operations.
- Financial Control: Create accurate project estimates, track material costs, manage budgets, and oversee change orders to protect profit margins.
- Schedule Management: Develop realistic master schedules and coordinate labor, equipment, and material deliveries to hit strict deadlines.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary, trusted point of contact for homeowners and commercial clients, providing regular progress updates.
- Permits & Quality: Navigate local building codes, secure necessary inspections, and enforce strict quality control standards across all trades.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 5 years of construction management experience, with proven success in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of framing, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems, finishes, and building codes.
- Software Literacy: Proficiency with construction management software, Excel, and scheduling tools.
- Leadership Style: Strong, respectful communication skills tailored for close-knit family team dynamics, subcontractors, and high-end clients.
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly between office administration and field problem-solving.
Pay: $30.00 - $37.50 per hour
