We’re looking for a Lead AV Technician & Installer to join our growing team — someone who loves hands-on work, takes pride in their craft, and can lead projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
• • Lead installation and setup of audio, video, and lighting systems for events and permanent installations.
• • Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and cable plans.
• • Pull, terminate, label, and test all audio/video/control cabling.
• • Install and configure projectors, LED displays, amplifiers, speakers, mixers, and lighting fixtures.
• • Supervise and mentor installation crews and junior techs.
• • Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and vendors.
• • Maintain job site organization, safety, and quality standards.
• • Troubleshoot systems and perform final testing and commissioning.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
• • 3 years of experience in AV installation or live event production.
• • Strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting signal flow.
• • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• • Experience leading small teams or job sites.
• • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
Preferred:
• • Experience with Crestron, QSC, Extron, Dante, or DMX systems.
• • Basic networking and IP-based AV knowledge.
• • OSHA 10/30 or industry certifications (CTS, Dante, etc.).
Physical Requirements
• • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, or scaffolding.
• • Work both indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.
