What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Graphic Designer position at Next Level Apparel?
The Sr. Graphic Designer is an extremely collaborative and creative role that works cross-functionally to ensure all collateral is branded and up to Next Level standards. This position will play a key role in not only supporting marketing, product, and sales but in working closely with the VP of Marketing in articulating the voice of the brand across multiple touchpoints including: sales collateral, brand videos, trade shows, website content, email blasts, social, and digital advertising. This role will include heavy graphic production with an emphasis on productivity and accuracy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
· Conceptualize, plan, and produce a wide range of creative material supporting trade shows, website assets, emails, ad campaigns, web and video content, and branded.
· Drive alignment around design decisions by soliciting, synthesizing, and managing design feedback from multiple internal sources.
· Translate creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging copy & creative concepts.
· Ensure that content maintains brand consistency across a multitude of channels including digital, social, advertising, and trade shows.
· Collaborate internally with Marketing & Product VPs to develop the conceptual and copy direction of branding, marketing, and advertising initiatives.
· Build distributor assets which include items such as: event promotional materials, sell sheets, sales sample inserts, and any additional assets needed to support the distributor & direct sales teams.
· Work with social media and e-comm managers to develop assets for: e-blasts, social ads, banner ads, and presentation decks.
· Partner with our Sr. Content Manager & Marketing Coordinator to maintain our digital asset library.
· Follow company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance with the job.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
· Minimum of 8 years of professional graphic design experience in an advertising or in-house creative role
· Strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and exceptional ability to understand, communicate, and develop creative solutions that address specific business/marketing objectives.
· Proven experience creating and executing strategic concepts and high-quality design for multiple categories while maintaining consistently high standards for accuracy, aesthetics, and productivity.
· A solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles.
· Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
· Strong typography skills.
· Experience working with established brand guidelines
· Ability to meet tight deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced work environment
· Highly collaborative, organized, and a self-starter with a positive attitude and adaptable working style. This is a very hands-on role; you must be able to learn quickly and multi-task, and must be willing to help on any and every level.
· Strong organizational and time management skills; acute attention to detail.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Media, Art, Communications, or related studies
· Proficiency with retouching and color correcting images to ensure continuity and quality
· Experience with WRIKE (Task Management) or similar
· Experience within the fashion/ apparel industry
· Experience in photoshoot production (styling & set design)
· Copywriting skills
Salary : $95,000 - $120,000
