About the Role
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business acquisition and supporting revenue growth within the small- to mid-sized business market. This role focuses on identifying prospects, building relationships, and delivering tailored solutions in the payroll, HR, and workforce management space. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results driven, and skilled in managing the full sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and develop new business opportunities through outbound efforts, networking, and referrals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through closing, including needs assessment, product demonstrations, and proposal delivery.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners.
- Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline, including timely updates in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and a smooth client onboarding experience.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
- Effectively communicate the value of products and services to prospective clients.
- Provide high quality, professional customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in payroll, HRIS, benefits, or SaaS.
- Strong understanding of payroll and HR compliance concepts (preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
