The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize entrance of individuals onto the premises to ensure security protocols are followed.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Utilize CCTV systems effectively to monitor activities and ensure safety compliance.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
- Manage conflicts in a calm and professional manner while ensuring the safety of all parties involved.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment (CCTV) and conflict management techniques is essential.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
