Overnight Security

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Overnight Security professional to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises during nighttime hours. This role is critical in maintaining a secure environment, preventing unauthorized access, and promptly responding to any emergencies that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and excellent observational skills to monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular patrols. As the overnight security officer, you will be the primary point of contact for security-related issues, working independently and with minimal supervision to enforce company policies and safeguard property, personnel, and assets. Your presence will significantly contribute to creating a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and clients. This role requires commitment to consistently uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity during overnight shifts, demonstrating reliability and quick decision-making in challenging situations. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and thorough patrols of the premises to detect and prevent any suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any unusual or unauthorized incidents promptly.
• Control access points by verifying credentials and preventing unauthorized entry into the facility during overnight hours.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports documenting any security concerns, violations, or unusual activities encountered during the shift.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities throughout the overnight shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a security role, preferably in overnight or nighttime shifts.
• Strong observational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
• Ability to confidently operate surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and communication devices.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Good physical fitness to perform patrol duties and handle any physical demands of the role.
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts consistently, including weekends and holidays as needed.
