Next Generation Recruitment & Staffing is placing Breakfast Attendants at premier hotel properties in the Birmingham area. In this role you will be the first face guests see in the morning — responsible for delivering a warm, well-stocked, and smoothly run breakfast experience from setup through breakdown.
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down the breakfast buffet area including hot and cold food stations
- Replenish food, beverages, utensils, and condiments throughout service
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Monitor cleanliness of the dining area and maintain sanitation standards
- Remove dirty dishes and wipe down tables promptly
- Follow all food safety and hotel brand standards
- Communicate low inventory or guest concerns to supervisor
Requirements
- Prior food service, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Ability to stand and move throughout shift (up to 5–6 hours)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours consistently
- Strong attention to detail and genuine guest service mentality
- Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
