Role Description This full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role is based in Mount Juliet, TN. The technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial HVAC systems, including troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine and preventive maintenance on heating, cooling, and ventilation units. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems, completing service calls, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with customers and team members. The role may involve working on related refrigeration and controls systems, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Technicians are expected to manage their workload efficiently, respond to urgent service needs, and maintain a professional, service-oriented demeanor.
Qualifications
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues using strong Troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of Plumbing systems related to commercial HVAC and MEP services.
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs for heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
- Understanding of Electricity as it applies to HVAC systems, including safe work practices.
- EPA certification for handling refrigerants or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification.
- Relevant technical training or apprenticeship in HVAC, refrigeration, or building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
- Strong attention to safety, including adherence to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
