After-School Program Van Driver & Academic Support Specialist
Location: Salisbury, NC
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Next Generation Academy is seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring individual to serve as a Van Driver and Academic Support Specialist for our After-School Program.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, values education, and is committed to helping students succeed in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Transportation Duties
- Safely transport students from local schools to Next Generation Academy.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks and maintain a clean van.
- Ensure student safety during loading, transportation, and unloading.
Academic Support Duties
- Assist students with homework and academic enrichment activities.
- Provide encouragement and guidance to students ages 5–14.
- Help maintain a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Support program staff with daily activities and student supervision.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
