Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner while ensuring orders are accurate and handled with care. This position requires excellent customer service skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe driving record.
Responsibilites
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver products to customers.
- Load, unload, and transport deliveries while preventing damage.
- Verify orders before delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at each delivery.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding delivery status or delays.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
- Assist with warehouse duties when deliveries are complete, as needed.
Simple Driving Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a delivery van, pickup truck, or box truck (if applicable).
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to navigate using GPS or mobile routing applications.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Pass a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screening (if required by company policy).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
