Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Modesto, CA for a Loan Officer Assistant. The Loan Officer Assistant will support loan officers by preparing, reviewing, and organizing loan documents, assisting with client communications, and ensuring a smooth loan process. Key responsibilities include coordinating with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders, managing application submissions, and ensuring deadlines are met. Additional duties include addressing client inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team in achieving company goals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of loan processes and the mortgage industry, with experience working as a Loan Officer or in a similar role
- Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and lending guidelines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Proficiency in relevant mortgage software, tools, and technologies
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or college degree in finance, business, or related field is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish or experience working with diverse communities is an advantage
