Business Development / Estimating

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and personable individual to join our team as a Preconstruction & Business Development Manager. This role is responsible for driving new opportunities, coordinating project walkthroughs, assisting with estimates, and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly communicative, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced construction environment. Construction experience is not required — we will train the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Communication

• Reach out to general contractors via email, phone, and social platforms
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Follow up on sent proposals using our structured call system
• Track all interactions and updates in our CRM (Notion/Copper)

Site Visits & Walkthroughs

• Attend job site walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings
• Take photos, videos, and detailed notes of project conditions
• Identify scope items and communicate findings to the estimating team
• Represent the company professionally on-site

Estimating Support

• Assist in preparing and organizing project estimates
• Review plans and help identify scope items (training provided)
• Coordinate with the estimating team to finalize proposals
• Ensure all necessary information (plans, photos, notes) is documented

Proposal & Pipeline Management

• Help manage incoming bid invites (ITBs)
• Ensure projects move through the pipeline efficiently
• Follow up with clients after proposals are sent
• Assist in closing opportunities and securing awarded projects

No prior construction or estimating experience required — we value character, communication, and consistency above all.
