NEXT Electric, LLC seeking full-time Electrical Assistant Project Manager in Madison, Wisconsin.
Job Summary
- Assists project managers ensuring continuity/efficiency of each project from start to finish
- Visits various construction sites and interacts with crew, customers, leaders, and general contractors to ensure jobs are running as expected
- Reviews estimates with estimators prior to submittal to customer to ensure accuracy
- Assists in managing productivity of craft workers and efficient use of materials/equipment, and overall contractual performance of projects
- Contacts vendors to obtain materials for projects
- Provides technical assistance, i.e. interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods, equipment, etc.
- Tracks and reports project status updates to project managers
- Promotes a safe working environment for all work activities
Qualifications
- 1 or more years’ experience in construction/electrical project management support
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Business preferred
- Accubid experience preferred
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Proficiency in use of PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
- Strong mathematical skills
- Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting complex documents
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles, and drug-test as may be required per federal or client contract, or DOT policy.
