Duties
- Perform roofing repairs, maintenance, and installations using hand tools, power tools, and specialized roofing equipment.
- Inspect roofs for damage or deterioration, accurately assessing repair needs based on blueprints, schematics, or visual inspections.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to determine materials and labor required for each project.
- Conduct site preparation and cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction-related fields such as roofing, siding, carpentry, masonry, or remodeling.
- Knowledge of roofing materials and techniques including metal roofing, EPDM and Shingles
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights on roofs or scaffolding.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to upsell the homeowner on additional services.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
