Role Overview
The Residential Painting Sales Consultant is responsible for meeting with qualified homeowners, guiding them through flooring options, and closing deals in the home. You are the face of the company in the field and play a direct role in revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Appointments are company-provided and pre-qualified. Your job is to diagnose needs, present solutions, build trust, and close.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident, personable, and motivated by performance-based income.
Key Responsibilities:
In-Home Sales & Consulting
- Attend scheduled in-home appointments with homeowners
- Measure spaces and assess painting needs
- Educate customers on painting options, pricing, and installation process
- Present solutions clearly and professionally
- Build trust and close deals in the home
Sales Execution
- Follow the company’s sales process and pricing structure
- Handle objections with confidence and integrity
- Close deals accurately and efficiently
- Submit complete and accurate job details after each sale
Customer Experience
- Set clear expectations for timeline, installation, and next steps
- Ensure customers feel informed and confident in their decision
- Maintain a professional, respectful presence in every home
Coordination & Follow-Up
- Communicate effectively with the CES and operations team
- Ensure smooth handoff after the sale
- Address customer questions pre-install as needed

Compensation & Earning Potential
- Base salary plus commission
- Uncapped commission structure
- Top performers can earn up to $20,000 per month
