Nexstep provides recruiting and contract staffing services to healthcare entities, schools, and businesses. Our Education Services division continues to grow as more and more schools seek us out for the quality of work we have come to be known for (because of our talented, dedicated IS team) and the level of admin support we provide our staff and theirs.
This is a full-time, hybrid position (half on-site, half remote) for the 2025-2026 school year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other staff members and parents/guardians in order to create and implement IEPs
- Provide SDI as indicated on student’s IEPs
- Collect data from SDI sessions
- Monitor student progress
- Complete IEP writing and progress reports as indicated/requested
Qualifications:
- Current ODE Intervention Specialist license
- Experience teaching in special education
- Well-versed in state and federal special education law
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and other staff members
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and use sound judgement in all aspects of the job

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
