Skills, Abilities & Qualifications Degree in Information Technology or Broadcasting, or a combination of education and work-related experience equivalent Minimum two years’ experience with digital electronics in a television broadcasting environment Experience evaluating, installing, maintaining and repairing broadcasting industry equipment (Audio, Video and AC power systems) and information technology systems Experience with Network Administration, configuration and data security implementation with Cisco, H-P and Juniper hardware Advanced experience with Microsoft Office applications and Operating Systems Experience with the Adobe Suite of products for video and graphics production Experience with Mac & iOS products Experience with fiberoptic systems, audio and video routing and patching Working experience with audio equipment, graphics systems and editing systems; experience with Ross Production Equipment/Automation strongly desired Experience with digital transmitters, microwave transmitters and receivers Proficiency/troubleshooting experience with desktop, laptop and tablet computers Detail oriented, with strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle multiple projects/issues simultaneously and meet deadlines Ability to build rapport with end-users and vendors to efficiently address issues Excellent oral and written communication skills – fluency in English Self-motivated and directed #LI-Onsite Nexstar Media Group is America’s largest local television and media company with 197 full power stations (including partner stations) in 115 markets addressing nearly 63% of US television households and a growing digital media operation.
