Position Description
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 Annually

We’re seeking a video and social media producer who is passionate about the news and looking to tell stories that resonate with audiences in the rapidly-evolving world of digital media.
Position Description
- Pitch, develop and produce video content ranging from vertical videos to podcasts
- Manage NewsNation's YouTube channel and social channels, reaching millions of followers from TikTok to Facebook
- Develop multimedia storytelling in collaboration with editors, writers and reporters
- Use emerging technologies to produce content and engage with audiences
- Keep up to date on the latest trends and emerging stories to share with the larger team
- Train staff members on social media best practices, use of social tools and other tactics
- Experience creating video and social content for large brands or news media outlets
- Expertise in managing video content on YouTube, including thumbnail and title best practices preferred
- Strong writing skills and ability to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Good editorial judgement in content selection and adaptation based on the platform
- Ability to quickly edit video and photos in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of data and analytics and demonstrated ability to use that data to make decisions
- Good communicator who can work collaboratively
- Experience using Adobe Suite, including Premier and Photoshop, preferred
- Journalism or news background preferred but not required
- Experience producing for or directing on-camera talent a plus
