What You’ll Do
- Build and produce engaging newscasts and streaming content
- Write, edit, and organize stories for newscasts
- Pitch original story ideas and contribute to editorial decision-making
- Monitor scanners, phones, social, and digital sources for breaking news
- Collaborate with anchors, MMJs, and newsroom staff daily
- Strong writing, grammar, and storytelling skills
- Solid news judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive under deadline pressure
- Team player who communicates well across departments
- All shifts possible, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
