News Photographer

WTAJ is searching for the next photojournalist to join our award-winning news team in Altoona, PA. We are Your News Leader in Central Pennsylvania, and we need an individual who can help tell compelling visual stories on air, online, and on our streaming channel WTAJ .

The News Photographer operates video cameras as well as live and streaming equipment. You’ll cover a range of topics from news to sports.

Position Responsibilities

• Records and edits content for WTAJ, WTAJ.com, and WTAJ
• Maintains video equipment
• Operates live equipment and satellite trucks in remote situations
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements & Skills:

• High school diploma
• Valid Driver’s License
• Fluency in English
• Proficiency with video recording equipment. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus!
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexibility to work any shift
