WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop strategies to grow revenue and exceed sales goals.
- Prospect for and develop new business opportunities within the local market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct consistent in-person, phone and digital sales outreach.
- Identify client needs and develop customized Broadcast, Digital and integrated solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Educate clients on the value and effectiveness of our media platforms.
- Develop advertising schedules and campaigns with clients and station teams.
- Collaborate with creative and station personnel to develop effective campaigns.
- Manage assigned accounts while actively pursuing new revenue opportunities.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and follow through on opportunities.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging platforms and new advertising solutions.
- Competitive, motivated and results-driven.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder.
- Comfortable prospecting, generating new business and asking for the sale.
- Organized and able to manage multiple clients, opportunities and deadlines.
- Creative, persistent and accountable.
- Curious and eager to learn new products, platforms and technology.
- Sales experience required; media or advertising experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications or related field preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
