What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheerleader Instructor position at Nexplore Enrichments?

The short version of this description is:
- Pay: $60 - $120 /class, plus 50 cents per extra mile after 20 miles in a roundtrip [Each class is around 1:10-1:30 hours between the teaching time, preparation and dismissal].
- Location: British International School (Lincoln Park) (*814 W. Eastman Street Chicago, IL 60642)*
- Dates: January 6, 2026 - March 24, 2026
- Grade: 3rd - 5th
- Schedule: every Tuesday from 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM (our instructors get to the classroom 15 minutes before to prepare everything).
- About Nexplore (www.nexploreusa.com): is an after-school program. You will be teaching our program Cheerleadingto school-age children. Curriculum and materials are provided.
Qualifications:
- Part-time position
- 2 years teaching/instructing (preferred)
- Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children
- Experience working with children
- Educational (development or training) experience
- Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
- Must commit to the full proposed schedule
- Great communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and educational after-school activities for children
- Implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe environment for all students.
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra assistance.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school administration.
- Utilize first aid skills when necessary to ensure the well-being of students.
