Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance.
• Conduct routine custodial tasks such as dusting, trash removal, window cleaning, and restroom sanitation to uphold hygiene standards.
• Utilize specialized equipment for floor care and industrial cleaning to ensure surfaces are well-maintained and safe.
• Assist with facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring equipment is operational.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other designated spaces according to company standards.
• Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Manage supply inventory by monitoring cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed.
• Support additional porter or maintenance tasks as assigned to ensure the overall upkeep of the facility.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as floor buffing, stripping, sealing, and general custodial procedures is advantageous.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or painting adds value.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively is essential.
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Position Requirements:

✅ MUST HAVE:

• Reliable personal transportation (will travel up to 60 minutes for premium-rate locations)
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Own basic cleaning supplies (broom, mop, vacuum, cleaning solutions, rags, trash bags)
• Smartphone for scheduling and communication
• Ability to lift 30 lbs
• Professional appearance and demeanor

✅ Preferred:

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience
• Flexible schedule (early mornings or evenings)
• Attention to detail
