Requirements:
- Heath Informatics education preferred.
- Minimum of one year of medical records experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to medical records in a long-term care setting.
- Valid and in good standing driver's license.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains patient medical records and computerized programs in accordance with federal and state guidelines and established policies and procedures.
- Performs periodic reviews and audits of all medical records in the facility, including current and discharged residents.
