Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist II to support manufacturing and quality operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys hands-on QA oversight on the production floor.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Perform batch record review, line clearance, and provide on-the-floor QA support
• Oversee and approve QC activities including method transfer, CoA, and stability
• Manage and support deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and lab investigations
• Ensure timely closure of discrepancies and batch/material holds
• Support regulatory inspections and maintain GMP compliance
• Assist with document control, training records, and SOP updates
🔹 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years (or equivalent) in biological sciences or related field
• Working knowledge of GMP (U.S. and EU standards preferred)
• Experience in QC (analytical, microbiological, or virology) is a plus
• Familiarity with tools like Veeva, LIMS, or Smartsheet is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
 Location: Oceanside, CA (onsite role; may require weekend/night support during campaigns)
