This is a full-time, on-site role for an LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) Technician located in Big Spring, TX. The LDAR Technician will be responsible for conducting inspections, identifying potential leaks, maintaining and calibrating monitoring equipment, and documenting emissions data. The role also involves ensuring compliance with industry regulations, managing reports, and assisting with audit preparations to support environmental management and operational excellence.
- Technical proficiency in using monitoring equipment, data collection tools, and leak detection technology
- Understanding of environmental compliance regulations and reporting requirements related to LDAR
- Attention to detail, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to conduct accurate inspections and tests
- Strong organizational and communication skills to document findings and collaborate with team members
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and physical ability to perform fieldwork, including climbing ladders and working at heights
- Experience in petrochemical or energy industries preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications in relevant fields are a plus
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
