Position SummaryThe Facility and Housing Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, and operation of company facilities, employee housing, and associated properties. This position ensures all company-owned, leased, or managed facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. The Facility and Housing Manager serves as the primary liaison with vendors, contractors, property owners, and service providers.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFacility Management· Oversee daily operation and maintenance of company offices, yards, shops, warehouses, storage locations, and employee housing facilities.
· Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities are maintained according to company standards.
· Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs.
· Coordinate facility repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects.
Housing Management· Manage company-provided housing accommodations and lodging arrangements.
· Coordinate employee move-ins, move-outs, and room assignments.
· Conduct housing inspections and document facility conditions.
· Enforce company housing policies and standards.
Vendor and Contractor Management· Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
· Obtain competitive bids and negotiate pricing.
· Schedule and oversee contractor work.
· Review and approve vendor invoices.
Budget Administration· Assist in development and management of facility and housing budgets.
· Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Safety and Compliance· Ensure facilities and housing properties comply with safety standards and company policies.
· Partner with HSE personnel to maintain safe working and living environments.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required. Minimum three years of experience in facility, property, housing, construction coordination, or related management experience.
