Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Norfolk, VA, for a Commercial HVAC Install Technician. The individual in this role will be responsible for installing commercial HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations. Additional responsibilities may include working with plumbing components and electrical systems relevant to HVAC installation.
Qualifications
- Strong ability in Troubleshooting HVAC systems and addressing operational challenges
- Knowledge and experience in Plumbing as it relates to HVAC system installations
- Proficiency in performing Preventive Maintenance and ensuring systems operate efficiently
- EPA certification and an understanding of regulations related to environmental safety
- Familiarity with Electricity, wiring, and related components in HVAC systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in commercial HVAC installation and maintenance is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training is a plus
