Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the General Manager of NexGen Cabinet Group, a growing kitchen, bathroom, and custom closet cabinetry manufacturer and wholesaler. This critical role will provide high-level administrative support, helping to drive operational efficiency, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support the company’s expansion in the Eastern market.
The ideal candidate is a reliable professional with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-service mindset who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing/wholesale environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle confidential communications.
- Prepare professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Support inventory, operations, sales, and finance teams by entering and managing data in NetSuite (or similar ERP system).
- Handle incoming inquiries from customers, dealers, vendors, and internal staff with professionalism and efficiency.
- Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation (digital and physical).
- Assist with project coordination, including sample/display programs, warehouse operations, marketing initiatives, and compliance tasks.
- Multitask effectively across competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned to support overall business goals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (formulas, charts, data management), and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with NetSuite or a comparable ERP/CRM system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, or similar).
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service orientation.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or home improvement industries.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar support role in a manufacturing or wholesale environment.
- Familiarity with cabinetry, kitchen/bath, or home improvement products and terminology.
- Experience with inventory management, sales support, or warehouse operations processes.
