Are you an experienced welder looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing fabrication company? Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Welder/Fabricator for a full-time position in Hyde Park, Utah. This role involves welding, fabricating, and assembling metal components while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has previous welding experience, can work independently, and is comfortable in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Dual Shield welding on various fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
• Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components to specifications.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
• Measure and verify dimensions using tape measures, squares, and other tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules.
• Assist with additional fabrication and shop duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to pass a welding test involving a T-shaped weld using Dual Shield.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds regularly.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Preferred: 
    • Experience welding stainless steel, including 304 and 316 stainless steel.
    • TIG welding experience, particularly on stainless steel and stainless pipe.

Pay

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
