Senior HR Generalist | Plaistow, NH
Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to join the team of our client, a growing electronics manufacturing company in Plaistow, NH. This is a high-impact opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, highly regulated environments and enjoys being involved in all aspects of Human Resources.
In this role, you will partner closely with the HR Manager and site leadership team to support payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, recruiting, compliance, onboarding, performance management, and HR process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is hands-on, people-oriented, and experienced supporting both employees and leadership within manufacturing or operational environments.

Responsibilities
- Support all major HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations, and policy interpretation
- Manage payroll processes and support compensation and benefits administration with accuracy and compliance
- Administer FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, STD/LTD, and other leave programs
- Support annual open enrollment and employee benefits communication initiatives
- Conduct employee relations investigations and partner with leadership to support fair and compliant resolutions
- Recruit, interview, and onboard employees for open positions
- Conduct new hire orientations and employee offboarding activities
- Maintain HRIS records and generate HR reports as needed
- Assist with performance management, employee development, and training initiatives
- Support implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, ITAR regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Partner with managers and supervisors to improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 5 years of Human Resources experience required
- Manufacturing or plant environment experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Payroll administration
- Benefits administration
- Employee relations
- FMLA, STD/LTD, Workers’ Compensation
- Employment law and compliance
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll platforms; ADP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- HR Certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) highly desired
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR regulations (no sponsorship available)
Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 annually
Schedule
Full Time | Monday–Friday | 100% On-Site | Plaistow, NH
