Painter

Nexeo HR is seeking a skilled Painter to join a reputable company in Hyrum, Utah. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for painting wood surfaces. If you have 1-2 years of experience working with lacquers, stains, glazes, and finish equipment, and are looking for a full-time position on the day shift, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Apply lacquers, stains, glazes, and other finishes to wood surfaces using the appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure top-quality results.

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as necessary to guarantee a smooth and even finish.

• Follow project specifications, including color matching and achieving the desired finish with precision and care.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and disposal of all painting materials to adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in wood painting, specifically with lacquers, stains, glazes, and finish equipment.

• Proficiency in surface preparation techniques, such as sanding, filling, and priming.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to achieve precise finishes and color matching.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently, meeting project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay 

$18.00 - $20.00 Per Hour

Schedule 

Day Shift | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM | Monday – Friday
