Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations with precision
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and preparation
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal guest flow
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with health regulations and sanitation protocols
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/hostess duties is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately
- Hospitality background with experience in guest services or restaurant operations preferred
- Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining a lively attitude
