Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
Location: Riverdale, Bronx, NY
Hours: Full Time
Schedule: 7:45am - 4:30pm and 1:45pm - 10:30p. Shift will change based on days off and work week. Every other weekend.
Pay Rate: $27.85/hr
Pay Frequency: Weekly – Direct Deposit

The supervisor provides hands‑on leadership, supports training, and helps maintain a positive, accountable team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties alongside the team, ensuring all resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces meet NEXDINE standards.
- Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to housekeeping staff during all shifts.
- Conduct routine inspections to verify cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures.
- Train new and existing team members on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and uniform standards.
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and daily workflow to maintain efficient operations.
- Address performance issues promptly and help build a positive, accountable team culture.
- Communicate effectively with residents, nursing, and other departments to support service needs.
- Ensure proper use and care of equipment, supplies, and chemicals.
- Support special projects, deep cleans, and emergency cleaning needs as required.
- Prior housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and resident‑centered service.
- Ability to train, motivate, and guide staff in a fast‑paced environment.
Salary : $28
