Key Responsibilities

Capital Raising & Investor Relations:

  • Collaborate with the CIO and SVP of Capital Markets on the capital raising process for healthcare real estate investments, targets HNWIs, family offices, RIAs, and institutional investors.
  • Engage with existing and new investors, developing relationships to ensure timely and successful closure of equity offerings for development and acquisition projects, as well as sponsored real estate funds.
  • Execute fundraising campaigns, coordinate investor outreach efforts, and actively participate in industry events to increase the firm's investor network.

Investor Communication & Reporting

  • Prepare and manage regular investor communications, including quarterly reports, investor presentations, and performance updates.
  • Work with accounting, asset management, legal, and marketing teams to ensure accurate and timely information is shared with investors.
  • Oversee the use of NexCore's investor portal (Juniper Square) to manage the investor subscription process and streamline reporting.

Collaboration With Internal Teams

  • Collaborate with the Investment Committee to develop and implement strategic capital formation plans to secure equity from new and existing investors for real estate projects.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create high-quality fundraising materials, including pitch decks, corporate presentations, and marketing campaigns tailored to different investor audiences.
  • Participate in meetings with potential and existing investors, presenting NexCore's projects and explaining investment opportunities.

Market Presence & Networking

  • Maintain a strong presence in the market by attending industry conferences, networking events, and investor meetings to build relationships and enhance NexCore's visibility.
  • Cultivate relationships with RIAs, private equity groups, and other real estate investment professionals to expands NexCore's capital raising opportunities.
  • Leverage your professional network to generate new capital sources for the company's ongoing and future development projects.

Fund Management & Investor Relations Systems

  • Use platforms like Juniper Square to manage investor relations and reporting, ensuring that investor data is accurately maintained and accessible.
  • Coordinate the subscription process and ensure all necessary investor documents and communications are in place for successful fund closures.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of internal processes related to capital raising, investor relations, and reporting to drive efficiencies.

Education

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, business administration, or a related field.
  • CFA designation preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in capital markets, investor relations, or equity capital raising, preferably within real estate or healthcare sectors.
  • Proven success in raising capital from HNWIs, family offices, RIAs, or institutional investors, with experience managing investor relations for real estate developments.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of financial models, real estate investment structures, and capital markets strategies.
  • Proficiency with CRM and investor platforms such as Juniper Square.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex investment strategies clearly to investors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Understanding of Real Estate Finance & Investments: Deep knowledge of real estate investment structures, equity financing, and capital markets, specifically in healthcare or similar sectors.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in financial modeling, deal structuring, and evaluating investment opportunities.
  • Fundraising Knowledge: Strong experience raising capital from HNWIs, family offices, RIAs, and institutional investors, with the ability to understand and respond to market trends.

Investor Relations & Networking

  • Relationship Management: Ability to build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with investors, providing excellent customer service and investor support.
  • Networking Skills: Strong networking capabilities, with an extensive contact list and the ability to engage investors at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Client-Focused Mindset: Ability to understand the needs of different investor types and tailor communication strategies accordingly.

Strategic Thinking

  • Strategic Capital Formation: Ability to develop and implement effective capital raising strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Market Awareness: Strong awareness of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market conditions that may impact capital markets and investor behavior.\
  • Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying and addressing challenges in fundraising or investor relations proactively.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $170,000 - $200,000 / year
  • Eligible for discretionary benefits: performance bonus target
