About the RoleNexaRx Health is hiring independent contract drivers to transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals between pharmacies, labs, and delivery points across the New York area. This is not patient transport — you're moving packages, not people.
You set your availability, use your own vehicle, and get paid per route or per delivery. Reliable, on-time drivers who treat every handoff like it matters will get steady, repeat work as we grow.
What You'll Do- Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals on assigned routes
- Use the NexaRx app for navigation, live tracking, and proof-of-delivery (we built it ourselves — it's simple)
- Maintain proper chain of custody: log every pickup and verify every handoff in the app
- Handle packages carefully, including temperature-sensitive items per simple written instructions
- Communicate with dispatch if anything comes up on a route
- 21 years or older
- Your own vehicle — car, SUV, or van (clean, reliable, presentable)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Your own auto insurance (see note below — read this before applying)
- Smartphone capable of running the NexaRx app
- Dependable, on-time, and comfortable following compliance procedures
- Able to pass a background check
- Flexible — pick the routes and hours that work for you
