THE OPPORTUNITY
The Regional Director, Sales and Operations is responsible for leading and integrating sales and operational performance across Arch Auto Parts and C&M Auto Parts in the southeast New York and New Jersey market. This role has direct accountability for regional revenue growth, operational execution, customer satisfaction, and team performance, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy and performance targets.
The Regional Director serves as the primary business leader for the region, translating NMG corporate strategy into consistent execution across sales teams, branch operations, and customer relationships throughout the greater NYC metro and New Jersey market area.
This position can be based in either the metro NY area or New Jersey.

Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Performance
- Own overall regional performance including revenue, gross margin, operating costs, and service levels.
- Execute regional business plans aligned with company objectives and growth initiatives
- Drive accountability through performance reviews, KPI tracking, and action planning across all reporting locations.
- Lead regional sales teams to achieve revenue growth, customer retention, and new account acquisition.
- Implement pricing, promotional, and customer segmentation strategies.
- Coach and develop sales leaders and representatives to improve effectiveness and execution.
- Provide leadership oversight of regional branch operations, including branch performance, inventory, delivery, and customer service.
- Partner with operations leaders to ensure operational consistency, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
- Address service issues, capacity constraints, and operational gaps impacting customer experience throughout the region.
- Act as the senior regional point of contact for key customers and strategic accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the regional footprint.
- Ensure customer feedback is captured and addressed to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Build, lead, and develop high-performing regional sales and operations teams across Arch Auto Parts and C&M Auto Parts.
- Set clear expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and manage performance across all regional team members.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement consistent with NMG values.
- Partner with SVP and VP, Operational Transformation to support enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and HR to execute regional priorities.
- Support the rollout and adoption of new processes, systems, and operating models across the region.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in sales, operations, or general management roles.
- Prior experience leading regional or multi-site teams in automotive aftermarket, distribution, or related industries strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the southeast New York and/or New Jersey market, including competitive landscape and key customer segments, is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage both sales and operations performance simultaneously across multiple locations.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
