Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mortgage Loan Officer. The Mortgage Loan Officer will assist clients in obtaining suitable mortgage products by evaluating financial information, preparing loan applications, and offering personalized solutions based on individual needs. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining and growing your client portfolio, working with various lenders, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Effective communication with clients, real estate professionals, and team members will be a critical aspect of daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, financial regulations, and lending guidelines
- Proficiency in handling loan applications, evaluating creditworthiness, and managing necessary documentation
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to effectively interact with clients, real estate agents, and partners
- Experience in sales, client retention, and generating leads in the financial services industry
- Comfort with technology, including mortgage-specific software and tools
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual work environment
- NMLS license is a requirement; additional state licenses are a plus
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or real estate financing is strongly preferred
