Duties
- Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and RF scanners to ensure accuracy.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform stock replenishment as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks on picked items to verify order accuracy and product condition before packing.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including labeling, packaging, and documentation compliance.
- Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety protocols during manual handling and heavy lifting tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers with familiarity in order picking, packing, shipping & receiving.
- Hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and inventory management systems.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely while following safety guidelines.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing orders efficiently.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience with warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus, but not required.
