In this role, perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a Per Diem position, working on an as-needed basis.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Preferred Criteria
- At least 1 year of PET CT experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an AMA approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- Nuclear Medicine License/Registration by New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)
- Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and / or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT)) certification to perform PET/CT exams
- If working in PET/CT, two years of current PET/CT experience
