In this role, the MR Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of CT procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.
This is a Per Diem position, providing weekend coverage, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Preferred Criteria
- N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
- ARRT Advanced Modality certification - CT
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
- Must obtain at least 24 continuing education credits every 2 years as per ARRT requirements
- N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
- At least 1 year of CT experience
