In September 2025, we’re opening a state-of-the-art ambulatory care facility at 1111 Westchester Avenue in White Plains—a center designed to set new standards in patient experience, convenience, and quality care. Led by top Columbia doctors, this multi-disciplinary facility will offer a wide range of specialized adult and pediatric care all under one roof.
Operating Room Technician - Operating Room - Per Diem - Days
Join our high-profile team, and build on our reputation for excellence as you provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of ambulatory surgical procedures (e.g., orthopedic, sports medicine, and pediatric ENT). Thrive in a fast-paced environment that challenges you to perform at your best every day and fosters your continued growth and advancement. You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team. You will assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room. This is a per diem position working 1-2 days/week 7:00am-3:30pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/The One in White Plains, NY.
Preferred Criteria
Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Preferred Criteria
- At least two years of experience as an OR/Surgical Tech in an acute care setting
- Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire
- High school diploma or GED
