The Marketing Associate role will help to manage databases and technology platforms to market NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s physicians and providers. This position will help develop and implement strategies to ensure the accuracy of physician profile data and maximize the search visibility of our top doctors for current and prospective patients. Responsibilities also include monitoring and responding to online reviews of our providers and facilities to provide regular reporting and address critical patient service issues. The Marketing Associate will serve as a liaison between Marketing and other stakeholders at NewYork-Presbyterian that request assistance in updating physician profile data.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage and update physician databases that power the NYP Find A Doctor website and our listings in doctor search engines and business directories
- Troubleshoot issues with missing or inaccurate data in physician profiles on the NYP Find A Doctor website and our business listings
- Respond to requests to update physician profiles in a timely, professional and courteous manner
- Enhance doctor profile pages and business listings with high quality photos, descriptions, and videos, as well as comprehensive and completed profile data
- Assist in implementation of online scheduling functionality for doctors on the NYP Find A Doctor website
- Monitor and respond to online reviews of our providers and locations
- Build reporting on the performance of the Find A Doctor website and our business listings
- Ability to escalate, communicate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform regular competitor analysis
- Partner with other NYP stakeholders and affiliated universities in management of physician databases
Required Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
- 1-3 years’ relevant digital marketing experience
- Familiarity with Google My Business, Yext and other business listings technology providers
- Must have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, and to be able to communicate directly with various personnel at the hospital such as physicians, their staff and other healthcare professionals
- Working knowledge of current digital marketing tools, strategies, mobile applications, and search capabilities
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Healthcare background is a plus
- Digital Agency/Vendor Relationship experience
