Title: Instructional Paraeducator, 27.5 Hours/week
Starting Date: August 2026
- Work under the direction of general education teacher(s) to support individuals and/or small
- Ability to positively support the development of social-emotional skills
- Provide assistance to teacher(s) in classroom tasks
- Assist in other various capacities, as needed
- Specific duties will vary based on grade level, content area, and student needs
- Ability to follow through on directions
- Ability to establish positive rapport with students
- Possess strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, neutral and patient
- Adapts easily to change
Qualifications:
Must have completed the equivalent of 2 years of study at an institution of higher education, OR earned an
Associate’s Degree (or higher), OR attained a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
Remuneration:
As per the current paraeducator contract.
