Front Desk Receptionist / Automotive Support
Newtown Car Care Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic team member to join our front office. This position is much more than answering phones—you'll be an important part of keeping our shop running smoothly while providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Assist with customer check-in/check-out and administrative tasks
- Perform Connecticut emissions testing (training provided if needed)
- Check out customers/ accept payments
- Road test vehicles as needed
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles
- Pick up automotive parts from local suppliers
- Help keep the front office organized and running efficiently
- Support the service advisors and technicians as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Preferable to be able to drive both automatic and manual (stick shift) vehicles
- Comfortable driving customer vehicles and performing road tests
- Basic computer skills
- Automotive experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
Monday through Friday full days; Saturdays 8 - 1 twice a month.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
