About the Role

The Senior Client Partnership Manager’s (CPM’s) primary role is to support commercial growth through strategic sales and operational excellence to drive retention and new business revenue for NewtonX. This position is focused on growing and retaining NewtonX’s most important clients (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Stripe). CPM’s must have a passion for both sales strategy and execution as well as research ideation and analysis.


In this role, you will:  

  • Own a top notch client book with full revenue ownership, identifying upselling and cross selling opportunities in existing client relationships

  • Develop strategic account plans to increase our footprint within client organizations based on your industry, research, and commercial expertise

  • Understand client needs and challenges, and own client relationships (ranging from Manager-level to C-Suite) to ensure continued engagement, success, and retention

  • Act as the quarterback of the client account by leveraging cross-functional relationships with NewtonX teams to bring the best of NewtonX to clients – e.g., Marketing leadership to get the best content into the hands of clients, Product to help clients best utilize our proprietary platforms and tools

  • Manage end-to-end proposal process for contracts from $10k to $500k from intake to research methodology design and pricing

  • Utilize research expertise to design innovative and comprehensive proposals that meet client research needs

  • Help to design and develop scalable processes and tools that make the team more effective and efficient


What you have

  • 7 years of experience in a research or insights role, including conducting quantitative and qualitative research studies

  • 3 years of experience working with clients in a relationship-building / account management capacity 

  • Demonstrated executive presence and business acumen; excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Top-notch organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong sense of ownership to independently drive high quality deliverables and outputs.

  • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn and be coached. 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Competitive compensation - base salary range $115-135K, uncapped commission and employee equity plan. Please note that salary and compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, performance, and location
