Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH), a member of Mass General Brigham, is a full-service community teaching hospital located in Newton, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. We are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to join our Hospital Medicine team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to adult inpatients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and daily patient management.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and consulting physicians.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
- Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
