Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Newton, MA, for a Cardiac Sonographer. Responsibilities include performing non-invasive cardiac imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms, to assist with patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The Cardiac Sonographer will work closely with the cardiology team to ensure accurate imaging and provide excellent patient care while maintaining safety and infection control standards. Additional tasks include ensuring optimal functionality of diagnostic equipment and staying up to date on advancements in cardiac imaging protocols.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology imaging techniques
- Certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Strong foundational knowledge in Medicine and cardiac-specific diagnostics
- Exceptional attention to detail and expertise in operating diagnostic imaging equipment
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Experience in a similar clinical role is a plus
